Family Montessori School Society (FMSS) is a well-established Montessori school in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. FMSS has provided Montessori education for its 3-6 year old students since 1980. The school is excited to announce an expansion to an elementary program in 2012. We wish to recruit an Elementary Director/Directress for our new 6 to 9 year-old classroom. This person will be an inspired individual who is excited about establishing a new class. This position will provide a unique opportunity to contribute to the expansion of our wonderful school.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree and Teaching Certificate. Prospective applicants must be eligible to teach at the Elementary level in British Columbia.
- AMI Elementary (6-12) Montessori Diploma preferred, AMS Elementary Diploma considered
- Current First Aid Training Required Skills
- Must be a visionary Montessori teacher
- Ability to train assistants and work successfully in a team
